Sweet Tomato & Boursin Bites

This recipe went viral for a reason

I love an easy recipe, especially around the holidays when I am usually making more than one recipe for a gathering. By the time Thanksgiving comes, calendars are packed with holiday parties, wine nights, ornament exchanges, family events, and more! I like to be helpful and bring an appetizer to any party I am invited to so I can help the host. This recipe has simple ingredients, takes less than 30 minutes, and will be gone before you know it!

Ingredients You'll need For Boursin & Sweet tomato bites Recipe

  • Garlic powder
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Honey
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper

How to Make This recipe

Another quick and easy recipe! This uses simple ingredients, and is absolutely delicious. We all know that one of the best parts about the holidays is the appetizers but we want them to be easy and quick so we can avoid stress. Your friends and family will want this recipe after you serve it!

step 1:

Add the tomatoes, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (optional) to a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Let this sit for a little so the tomatoes can marinate those flavors together!

step 2:

Roll out the crescent dough best you can, and try to cut into 16-20 even sizes. This isn’t easy but it doesn’t need to be perfect! Gently press into a greased mini muffin tin.

step 3:

Add a small chunk of the Boursin cheese, then topping with the tomato mixture. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, and golden brown.

step 4:

Top with honey and fresh parsley once done and enjoy! This makes about 16-20 servings.

Tips for Boursin & Sweet Tomato Bites

  • Boursin Cheese: you don’t have to use this brand BUT it’s already so flavorful which makes this recipe even easier. You can swap with another kind of soft cheese, such as regular goat cheese.
  • Tomatoes: sweet tomatoes are preferred here to balance out the saltiness and savoriness of the cheese and seasonings. It’s a great combination, but you can use grape tomatoes as well.
  • You can double this: this is an easy recipe to double if you think you may need more than 16-20 of these. You can simply double the ingredients and make two batches!
  • Mini muffin tin: you’ll need a mini muffin tin to make this dish!
