Easy Apple Cider Mimosas

This past weekend I hosted a fun fall brunch with some girlfriends that I’ve known since college. It’s always so fun to get friends together especially when it involves food and a theme! The weather is cooling down so we decided to do fall-themed food, and a friend suggested a fall-flavored drink. Enter the apple cider mimosa! Mimosas are always a crowd pleaser, and they’re easy. This one is a little more elevated with a caramel and brown sugar-rimmed glass, but it’s still easy to make!

Ingredients You'll need For These Mimosas

  • Prosecco
  • Apple Cider
  • Caramel dip
  • Brown sugar

How to Make Apple Cider Mimosas

It looks fancy, sounds fancy, but it’s simple! You only need four ingredients to make this refreshing and delicious drink. You can also garnish with a thinly sliced apple or a cinnamon stick to add more flavor and to make it look even fancier! If you want to make this alcohol free, use non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Make a batch of this simple cocktail for your friends and family this fall!

step 1:

To a pitcher, add a bottle of Prosecco and about 1 to 2 cups of apple cider. You can add less or more depending on how strong you want these to be! Let sit in the fridge before serving.

step 2:

Add about 3 tbsp of brown sugar to a plate. Take each Champagne glass and dip it into the caramel dip so the rim is coated.

step 3:

Next, gently press the glass onto the brown sugar, and it will easily stick.

step 4:

Pour the apple cider mimosa into each glass and enjoy!

Tips for Apple Cider Mimosas

  • Storage: this is best served day-of so the bubbles don’t fall flat. If you prep ahead, you can rim the glasses the day before and make the Prosecco-cider mix the day of.
  • Garnishes: you can also garnish these with a thin apple slice or a cinnamon stick. Make this your own!
  • You can double this: this is an easy recipe to double if you need a large batch! You will need more than one pitcher to store and hold all of the mixture.
