Description

Who doesn’t love a simple recipe that involves butter and garlic? With a few ingredients, you can make eight servings of garlic naan. Once these are cooked in the skillet, they’re brushed with butter and garlic — you’ll love these!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 c nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 c self rising flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • Extra sea salt for butter mixture

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix greek yogurt, self-rising flour, baking powder, and sea salt until well combined. The dough starts out a little shaggy until it’s fully mixed.
  2. Take the dough out of the bowl and kneed it with your hands, and form it into a ball-shape. Divide into four pieces, and divide each piece again, creating eight equal pieces.
  3. Melt the butter and add the garlic, parsley, and a little bit of extra sea salt, and set aside.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, add a little bit of oil, allowing it to heat up. Take each piece and roll out or flatten with your hands into an oval sort of shape, and add one naan at a time in the skillet.
  5. Cook the naan on each side for 2-3 minutes and browning. Remove from heat and brush with the garlic-butter mixture, completely coating each piece. Cook each piece of naan, and serve warm!
